Early Life and Divine Calling

Pastor Dr. Charles Opara is a man divinely chosen and set apart to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with power, purity, and prophetic depth. In obedience to a clear divine mandate, Dr. Opara founded Dayspring Faith Chapel, a vibrant and Spirit-led ministry raised to be a light to the nations and a beacon of hope to the broken. The name Dayspring is inspired by Luke 1:78–79 (NLT):

“Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.”

Dayspring Faith Chapel began as a vision of revival — a place where people could experience the presence of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Under Pastor Opara’s leadership, the ministry has grown into a family of believers dedicated to prayer, evangelism, prophetic ministry, and compassionate outreach.

The Apparition and the Call of the Virgin Mary
